Who we are
This website is operated by COF Engineering Pte Ltd (UEN 202411556Z), 71 Woodlands Avenue 10, #04-17, Singapore 737743 (“COF”, “we”, “us”). We also have a branch at 23, Jalan Laman Setia, Taman Laman Setia 23/3, 81550 Johor Bahru, Johor.
We handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). Where our Malaysia branch handles your personal data, we also follow Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What we collect
This website has no forms, accounts or sign-ups. We collect personal data only in these ways:
- When you contact us by phone, email or social media: your name, contact details, company and role, and anything you tell us about your site or job.
- When you send us a CV as a student or graduate: the information in your CV and email.
- When you visit this website: our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure.
We do not ask for NRIC numbers or other national identification numbers through this website. Please do not send them to us unless we have explained why they are needed for a specific job, such as site access passes.
How we use it

- To plan, carry out and report on work you engage us for
- To manage contracts, invoices and payments
- To consider you for a role or internship, if you sent us a CV
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations
- To keep this website secure and working
Consent and withdrawal
When you contact us and give us your details, you consent to us using them for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing sales@cof.sg. We will tell you if withdrawing affects anything we are doing for you, for example if we can no longer complete a quotation, and will stop using your data for that purpose within a reasonable time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only where needed, with:
- Service providers who run our email, IT systems and website hosting for us
- Subcontractors, suppliers or the main contractor involved in your job, for that job
- Government bodies and regulators where the law requires it
Anyone we share data with is expected to protect it and use it only for the purpose we gave.
Transfers outside Singapore
Our email and hosting providers may store data on servers outside Singapore, and our Singapore and Malaysia offices may share enquiry details with each other. Where data leaves Singapore, we take appropriate steps so that it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. As a guide, enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within two years of our last contact, CVs are kept for up to twelve months unless you ask us to delete them sooner, and project and accounting records are kept for as long as Singapore law requires.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data, including access controls on our email and files, and limiting access to staff who need it. If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
Access and correction
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, how it has been used in the past year, and to correct anything that is wrong. Email sales@cof.sg. We will reply as soon as reasonably possible, normally within 30 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request and will tell you the amount first.
Marketing
We do not send marketing messages and do not add anyone who contacts us to a mailing list. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and check the Do Not Call Registry before calling or messaging Singapore numbers.
